GPS tracker aids in couple’s disappearnce

Via the Detriot News, a couple disappeared in Lake Huron nearly two weeks ago from their boat.
Their marine GPS navigation system was activated slightly before the boat was found drifting in the lake. Authorities hope to back track the couple’s path of travel to determine where they could have gone missing.
While GPS does help in cases like these, it should never be assumed to be an “end all” solution to solving crimes.
