A few school districts have begun using GPS to track school buses.
Just another way to keep safe tabs on children; as the buses exact speed and location is constantly monitored. In addition, ID cards the students carry are scanned apon entering or exiting the bus, which will provide another measure of student security.
In addition, the systems have built in cameras, alarms, and emergency notifcation.
Hopefully we’ll see school districts increase this trend across the country, for our children.
